Bring your bags to the One Village warehouse on the trading estate just over the railway bridge on Forest Road (OX7 3HH). Cost is £5 per bag with 50% going to local causes. Heavy duty polypropylene sacks able to hold 20kg of paper are available free at Larcum's Gallery, Market Street, Charlbury (until the shop closes down).

No need to remove staples, paperclips or plastic spines, but please DO NOT include plastic sleeves, folders or CDs.

The £5 per sack fee for shredding is payable when you drop the sacks off for shredding. Certificate of destruction provided if required. The paper gets reprocessed into paper products within just a few weeks.

Organised every May and November by Charlbury Green Hub. Since 2009, when this event was first arranged in Charlbury, 4,438kg of paper have been shredded which is equivalent to 66.6 trees and over £1,000 has been raised for Charlbury charities.
